| Job Description | •Provide L2 & L3 level of support & administration for all Netbackup versions
•Patch Management, house keeping activities, health checks, back up activity across the monitoring environment.
•Create comprehensive reports on system performance and availability
•Responsible for administration of Enterprise System Management and Server management solutions.
•Responsible for implement and upgrade Netbackup Enterprise System Management, Server Management and Network Management solutions.
•Administration of Veritas environment which includes Framework, Veritas Monitoring , Veritas Enterprise Console or SUN Java Netbackup Console.
•Provide solutions to customers on Netbackup related problems arising on day-to-day activities.
•Experience in handling large scale Backup Infrastructure.
•Coordination with vendors and OEMs to ensure that time and equipment dependencies are optimally managed

| Desired Profile | Education:
(UG - B.Tech/B.E. - Computers, Electronics/Telecomunication) OR (PG - MCA - Computers)
B.E./B.Tech/MCA, 3 to 5 Years relevant experience,
OEM certified L2/L3 engineer on Backup Technology
Veritas Netbackup 5, 6 and 6.5, upgrade of Netbackup Infrastructure.
Knowledge of Windows and other UNIX based operating systems.
Good System Management knowledge covering Veritas Netbackup as key products.
Good knowledge on monitoring tools such as Veritas Netbackup Monitoring Console. Understanding of Shell scripts. |
