| Job Description | Description The Test Engineer is responsible for maintaining the quality of the Alcatel-Lucent products. The Test Engineer uses state-of-the art tools, methods and procedures to deliver high quality products and product improvements. The job includes testing on the Omniswitch series of devices and performing tests for the Layer2, Layer3, Security and Datacenter protocols. Along with this he/she would need to support the automation and execution of tests based on the testplan. - Evaluate product life cycle, develop test objectives, test execution (Manual & Automation using TCL). -Responsibilities will also include documentation of test results in the proper logs and/or tracking systems; participating in Software Functional Specification reviews. Participation in the development of test scripts and responsibility for ensuring proper execution of those test scripts. -Responsibility for ensuring that test designs and documentation supports selected client, agency or industry standards and time lines. Will also be responsible for ensuring that testing conclusions and recommendations are supported by test results; assist in the analysis of test results and documents conclusions. |
