Job Description
Mandatory Skill set:
- Working knowledge of testing Routing or switching protocols such as OSFP, BGP, RIP ,GRE VRF, VRRP, Multicast routing (IGMPV3,IPTV) and the respective RFC’s
- Experience in either Manual or Automation (TCL/Perl) testing.
- Should have experience in writing scripts from scratch for test cases
- Working knowledge of functional testing of L3 Routers and multilayer switches , or CMTS , Cable modems
Preferable Skills:
- Must have done automation of L2/L3 devices using TCL & Expect, Shell or Perl in the above areas.
- Good hand-on usage of test tools such as IXIA, Spirent test center or smart bits.
- Experience in writing test cases and creating test design from Requirements and RFC’s
- Experience in debugging script failures and isolating system/software issues.
